Broken Things

March 23, 2018

I sincerely appreciate all the prayers that have been and continue to be prayed over me to receive my healing from Cerebral Palsy. Without them, I would not be where I am today. Through many conversations with God concerning my healing, I believe with all my heart that He heals me daily as I carry this beautiful Cross. It is truly a wonderful gift and tool that I use to impact, reach, and minister to people, with the ultimate goal of pointing others to Christ.

We never have to go through trials in this life alone, because God is walking right beside us, step by step. He never gives us anything that we cannot handle with His guidance and strength. One can either choose to be bitter about his or her imperfections or use them for God’s glory. There’s no such thing as perfect people. All God asks us to do is to come broken, scarred, and humble before Him. He will never reject us, but will mold, shape, restore, change, and conform us to His image through His redemptive power.

God wants to bless His children with abundant life; that is what we are all called to live. When we surrender to God’s will, plan, and purpose for our lives, we immediately receive a sense of fulfillment. It doesn’t matter how broken we are. The fact is, God uses the brokenness of others through surrender and willingness in beautiful ways to carry out His work on this earth. He promises each of us that one day, we will receive a glorious crown in Heaven; our complete healing!
