Flawsome

June 30, 2017

No one person is perfect, but God still made each one of us for a specific purpose and calling. The amazing thing is that God knows we are not perfect, yet He still accepts and uses us as we are. He knows our biggest flaws, and refines us daily, ultimately making us more like Him. The only way for us to become more like God is to lean on Him daily, admitting that we can't walk through this life without Him. The refining process is often painful, because God prunes away the things in our lives that get in the way of our relationship with Him. God truly desires for us to fellowship with Him, which is why He created us so that He could have a family. Being part of God's family is unlike anything you will ever experience on earth. It is one of the most rewarding things a person will ever do in his or her lifetime.

Salvation is the entrance into God's family, and Heaven. The truth is that we are all sinners, and need His salvation and guidance daily! The beautiful thing is that salvation is a free gift. You don't have to do anything to earn salvation, because it was already paid for when Jesus died for you on the Cross. You + Jesus + The Cross = Flawless! When you become part of God's family, you don't have to carry your worries, the weights of this world, or your burdens any longer, because they are surrendered, and laid down at the feet of the Cross. You can begin to experience the true freedom and blessings that come with being part of God's family today!

Repeat this simple prayer:

Jesus, I thank You for what You did on the Cross for me.

I acknowledge that I am a sinner, and that I need

Your grace and forgiveness;

I choose to turn from sin, and I turn completely to You.

I ask You to come into my heart, and to be Lord of my life.

I will serve You from this day forward.

Use my life for Your glory.

I am Your vessel!

In Jesus name, Amen!

By praying this prayer, it allows God to intervene into our lives and hearts, and to shape us into who He has called us to be. Accepting salvation allows God to work with our flaws, and turn them around for His glory. God's work in our lives is a process, and He will continue the work He started in us and through us all the days of our lives!
